Free Carers Voices Training
Carers Scotland is providing free ‘Carers Voices’ training to carers who are looking after someone with a mental health condition and to carers from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities. The sessions will equip you with:
- Improved knowledge of local NHS and social services
- More effective communication skills
- Assertiveness skills when dealing with local services
- Getting your views heard about your caring role
The training will be split into two half-days and will take place at the following times and places:
Mental Health Carers
Tuesday 21st February 11.00am – 2.00pm & Wednesday 29th February 11.00am – 2.00pm, Festival Business Centre, Brand Street, Govan
BME Carers
Tuesday 13th March 11.00am – 2.00pm & Tuesday 20th March 11.00am – 2.00pm
